My sweet friend Carla Ligon-Miller, left Washington, DC a few years ago and I’m so happy to see her loving Manhattan and witnessing her tiny family blossom! Not only is she a fabulous mommy, she does the most amazing makeup, so make sure to reach out to her if you ever need a makeup artist in NYC!

You may notice that this sweet family shows up on my blog quite often. I’ve had so many wonderful opportunities to photograph their growing family during the past two years. I’m so sad to see them move back to Texas but feel so blessed to have found a family who treasures their family photographs as much a I do.

Last year I photographed this little guy when he was just fresh out of the oven and this fall I had the pleasure of celebrating his very first birthday! He is truly a party animal.
I went to Hollins with Emileigh Clare! I had such a lovely time exploring the Eastern Market area with her lovely family.

Here are a few favorite shots from my make-up day at DC Film Is Not Dead Workshop. But thanks go to Jonathan Canlas for allow me to join in on the Day 2 session. As you probably remember me mentioning I got some kind of stomach flu while I was at the Orem, Utah FIND workshop…. But now all I’m caught up! How GORGEOUS is this family?!??! I could photograph them all day long!
